Scope of Practice: The scope of practice of a Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP), according to the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP), emphasizes the practice of ‘drugless’ healing methodologies, doing no harm, maintaining the highest standards of professional and personal conduct, abiding by all state and local laws, being honest with clients, being willing to consult with other healthcare professionals when doing so would benefit the client, avoiding exceeding one's abilities or training, and being up-to-date with information and continuing education. Practitioners include MDs, NDs, DCs, OMDs, PhDs, DDs, RNs, herbalists, and other professional ‘drugless’ holistic health practitioners who are committed to maintaining the highest standards of professional and personal conduct.
Description The AADP is dedicated to promoting an enhanced professional image and prestige among practitioners of traditional and nontraditional therapies and methodologies and to helping promote you and your practice.
